Off to the Coast

Last weekend we got away to Santa Maria for a few nights. S enjoyed being with all her cousins, who kept her very busy! Jim and I got to get away with my sister and brother-in-law, to enjoy drinks and appetizers while watching the sunset at The Cliffs in Pismo. You don't realize how lucky you are to live in California, until you're sitting on the edge of the U.S. in a place that others could only dream of! It was beautiful and we had a great time.

On Sunday, we spent the day out at the Blythe Ranch, where the kids got to pick pumpkins, feed the cows, and get really dirty. S kept saying "moo" to the cows, as we rode around in the back of the pick-up like a bunch of hillbillies. Great times had by all :)
