Birthday celebrations...

This weekend was filled with numerous birthday parties. Saturday we celebrated Eva's 1st birthday (the little girl accross the street), saturday night we celebrated Dan Larralde's 29th, and today we finished it off with Caden's 1st birthday down the street. Miss S thinks everyday is a birthday party. We actually showed up early to the party today, because she was so excited to go, we couldn't hold her back any longer. She sings happy birthday everyday...we just never know who she is going to add at the "happy birthday dear ____" part. She now helps me wrap the presents and understands the present is for the birthday person, and she has to wait for them to open it. At Saturday's party she got her first swing at a pinata, and had a blast decorating her own cupcake. She was literally in hog heaven.
Also, today Miss S is 23 months old...that means only one month till her 2nd birthday! Where does time go??? Didn't we JUST celebrate her 1st? This is a very fun age! We laugh everyday, are amazed everyday, and thank god everyday for such a special little girl!

Disneyland

This weekend was the Munro family trip to the "happiest place on Earth", Disneyland! Miss S was a trooper. She stayed up late, woke up at her "normal" time, hardly napped (cause she was too excited), and wore herself sick. We spent all day Saturday at Disneyland, and got the pleasure of meeting Mickey Mouse (can you tell how excited she was by the picture!) She was a little scared (gripping Jim's shirt for dear life) as we approached Mickey to say hello and take a picture. We had a wonderful time, spinning around on the carousel, going through "It's a small world", eating delicious waffle cone ice cream, and staying up late for "Fantasmic" and fireworks!

My honey is 30!

Wow! What a weekend. Saturday night I planned a 30th birthday party for Jim (and me too :) and what a party it was! I'm still partly brain-dead and having trouble typing and remembering what we did that night. Friends and family joined us for cocktail hour(s) at our house, then we were picked up by a party bus that took us to a couple bars. I would highly reccomend this type of party bus transportation for any future activities involving alcohol! It was perfect. It was suppose to hold 18 people, but somehow we managed to pack in 27! We were loaded up, music pumping, and holding on for dear life when the lights turned green. It was an absolute blast, and exactly what we wanted to celebrate the big 3-0!

30th surprise and trampoline break

We were on the coast this weekend for Nick's surprise 30th birthday party. One of my best friends, Jamie, planned a great party at Guiseppe's in Pismo beach. We had a great time, awesome food, tons of laughs, and fantastic entertainment by Nick in his new "Superman" underoos!

I had to laugh when I looked at these pictures! We were in SM this weekend, and grandma and pop have invested in a huge trampoline for all the kids. It's been a BIG hit. With 75 degree weather, the kids were stripping off their clothes, and had to cool off with popsicles while hiding under the trampoline. The static electricity made S look like her finger was in a light socket...and with popsicle dripping down her bare belly, I had to grab my camera :) She is a blast! She always wants to hang and do what her big cousins are doing.
