Well Jim and I got a surprise getaway to San Diego this weekend. We were planning on going as a "family", but when my mom offered to take Miss S for 5 nights, we jumped (and hesitated) on the opportunity to have time alone. We stayed with one of Jim's bestfriends in a beatiful home on the golf course, with awesome ocean views! We went on a hike overlooking the ocean (you'll see pics), had dinner in old town and "Little Italy", went out in the gaslamp district, shopped, and just had fun together. S had a blast with "nana" and "pop", and couldn't get enough of her cousins...hopefully she won't have withdraws back at our quiet house.
