The Stats

Miss S had a doctors appointment yesterday, and here are the stats. She is 21 1/2 months old. Weighing in at a tad over 34 lbs puts her off the chart in her age group. This means S is on a diet (just kidding, but we had a little talk with the doc about her food consumption) Water, milk, fruit, veggies and lean meats only. Mommy always feels like the bad guy when I limit her "junk" and say NO, but it has to happen. Now is the only time we actually have control of what she eats, and she needs to learn good habits...so be on the same page with me please. Her height was around 34 inches, which was in the 90th percentile, so at least she is tall too.
(The percentiles mean she is taller than 90% of children her same age)
So we're on the coast for the weekend celebrating Valentine's day and my birthday. Yesterday we stopped in Pismo and went to The Shore Cliff where Jim and I were married (almost 5 years ago!) It was absolutely beautiful! Up on the cliffs looking over the ocean - just an amazing sight! We had S stand right where we got married so I could take her picture. Never did we know how lucky we would be when we said "I do". I am very thankful for my healthy family and wonderful daughter and husband! Happy Valentine's day!!!
XOXOXO

You know while your 34 pound baby is off the charts...my 34 pound 5 year old is slowly slipping off the charts in the other direction!!! She eats, she's just small. I think those charts are frustrating because I know my daughter is healthy, even if she's on the smaller side. I'm sure your little angel is just fine :)
