Escape the heat!

Hot, hot, hot! The temperature is over 100 degrees, and thank goodness we have an escape at Grandma and Poppy's swimming pool. S loves the water, and stays in so long her two big toes were raw and bleeding. Everyone calls her a fish, which is funny, because that's what everyone called me when I was little and we swam at Grandma and Grandpa Harris'. Staying in the pool all day made the 108 degree day pass much more pleasantly. We had a fun day, swimming, playing volleyball, and being entertained by S, Jaime, and her silly friends.
S is in her second round of swimming lessons, and is progressing amazingly. She can now jump off the side by herself, go under, find her way to the top, and swim for the side. She floats of her back with almost no assistance, and wants to do everything by herself. Miss Independent to say the least!
