Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas! What a FUN year for S! At 2 years 8 months, she really understood and was excited for Christmas. A few days before Christmas, we headed to Santa Maria. S loves being with her cousins, jumping on Grandma and Pop's trampoline, and playing with "Honey" the bird. I had all our Christmas shopping done a bit early, so we enjoyed our time and relaxed with family.

All the cousins! (and one more on the way :)

Late Christmas Eve night, after all the festivities were over, we drove home to Clovis. We woke up Christmas morning at our house, went into S's room, and she asked "did Santa come into my bedroom?" We told her he visited our house and left her presents under the tree, but he didn't go into her room. She was thrilled when she walked out to the tree and saw that he really did come to our house and left her presents. Her favorite gift...by far the Zhu Zhu pet hampster, whom we've named Hampy. A must see video of her opening Hampy and running around saying "this is my favorite toy, thank you Santa"!

We headed to Grandma and Poppy's for Christmas Day breakfast, and yes, the famous cinnamon rolls. S went on another "opening" frenzie, tearing through wrapping paper anxious to see what was inside. We had a great Christmas with all our family, and are very thankful for all we have. Beyond the gifts and giving of Christmas, the most important thing is family - we are very fortunate and blessed to have such wonderful family!!!
