Last weekend Jim and I got away to Sacramento to visit Foster's Farm (aka Jamie and Nick's house of horses, chickens, cats, dogs etc). We had a baby shower/BBQ for Elyssa and Andrew who are expecting a baby boy in November. It was great to see everyone! We need to do it more often. The next morning we decided to get up early and take advantage of not having "S" with us. We got in the car, stopped in Davis to see Kerri and Hayli, and then headed to Pier 39 in San Francisco. We ate lunch on the pier, and enjoyed our time together. Next we headed to the wonderful (not!) town of Berkeley for a Dave Matthews Band concert (Jim's favorite). We found ourselves in the middle of a mini riot involving the treehuggers who don't want the trees cut down to expand Cal's stadium. Ok, so I'm into "going green" and "saving the planet", but these people are nuts! Enough said. Anyways, the concert was great, as we were a bit "high" from all the pipes and blunts surrounding us. An intresting experience to say the least. We had a great weekend, but as always, we're anxious to return home to see our baby girl!!

Ha ha. I watched the youtube clips Jim sent me. Craziness! Looks like you guys had a fun time though. It's always nice to have a get-away.
