Last weekend we traveled to Palm Springs to cheer Aunt Jaime on in the Miss California USA pageant. All of Jim's family went, and my parents, sister Pamela and her daughter joined also. We had a great cheering section, signs and all. Jaime looked fantastic! Although she didn't bring home the title, it was a great experience, and we all had fun. The weather was great for swimming, and little did I know, Palm Springs has great shopping.
So here we are a week later, and Miss S and her cousin that went to the pageant decided (all on their own) to play "beauty pageant". They chose outfits on their own (out of my 27-year old sisters closet), placed the crown on, and told us all to watch. A 2 1/2 and a 4 1/2 year old prancing around, hands on their hips, with a little "sas" in their attitude - it was hilarious!
